Ginger Syrup (Stove)
Ingredients
- 4 parts ginger
- 4 parts sugar
- 3 parts sugar
Instructions
Peel and cut the ginger into small discs.
Combine water and sugar in a pan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Add the ginger and stir.
Bring the mixture to a light boil.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and steep for another hour.
Strain into a sterilized bottle.
Keep refrigerated. Lasts 1 month.
