Hints

  1. When making a Mimosa, choose a dry Champagne, Prosecco or Cava.

  2. Cocktails with a small number of ingredients are entirely reliant on the quality of their ingredients. Use fresh orange juice: It takes no time to make and it will greatly improve your drink.

  3. Adding orange liqueur means you’ll be making a Grand Mimosa (see Related Cocktails).

  4. You can give this cocktail a silky texture by using a milk frother on the orange juice before building the drink. For best results, strain the orange juice first.

  5. If other fruits you like are in season, you can easily mix them along with the orange juice in a blender until smooth. Then simply pour the mixture into a flute and top off with Champagne. Consider adding a touch of simple syrup and / or lemon juice to enhance the flavors.
