  • 30ml orange juice
  • 30ml cream of coconut
No. of Servings:

Garnish

Freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until chilled.

  3. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.

  4. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Hints

  1. A good drink to try for those that enjoy Piña Coladas but want something slightly different. Rum will be more present here, plus the grated nutmeg will bring baking spices into the mix.

  2. Consider floating an overproof dark rum on top of this drink to give it an extra kick and a more complex nose.

Trivia

  1. This cocktail comes from the Soggy Dollar Bar in the British Virgin Islands. It was created by Daphne Henderson in the 70s.

  2. The bar’s name comes from the fact that there is no dock, and the clientele would have to swim to the shore in order to reach the bar.

  3. Pusser’s Rum holds a trademark for the Painkiller.
