  • 60ml gin
No. of Servings:

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except for the gin into a cocktail shaker.

  2. Muddle the ingredients.

  3. Add gin.

  4. Add ice, and shake until chilled.

  5. Double strain into a rocks glass with ice.

  6. Garnish with a mint sprig and a cucumber slice.

Hints

  1. When muddling, try to avoid bruising the mint to prevent bitter flavors.

  2. Some bartenders prefer adding the mint leaves along with the spirit to avoid bruising it. The shaking will extract the flavor even if it hasn't been muddled.

  3. The “Maid” cocktail family was created to work with any spirit.
