Ingredients

  • 45ml bourbon or rye whiskey
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 15ml orange juice
  • 15ml pineapple juice
  • 7.5ml demerara syrup
  • 0.5 tsp grenadine
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Edible orchid

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until chilled.

  3. Strain into a coupe.

  4. Garnish with an edible orchid.

Hints

  1. The original version of this cocktail is made with bourbon, but we feel that rye is a bit more complex and makes the cocktail read a little less sweet. That being said, feel free to use either one!

  2. Regardless of which one you use, try an overproof whiskey on this drink. There's plenty of sweetness already going on, which will balance nicely with the spirit.
