Trivia

  1. The French Gimlet, also known as an Elderflower Gimlet, is named after its use of what is usually considered a french liqueur, based on the popularity of the St-Germain brand.

  2. The name St‑Germain is a nod to the district of St‑Germain‑des‑Prés, made famous by the writers and artists who lived and worked there during the Belle Époque (1871-1914). This was a peaceful time in Europe which allowed for the development of culture, and in which artistic expression was highly valued.
