Instructions

  1. Add espresso to a cup.

  2. Add spirit or liqueur, or serve side by side to allow the drinker to choose how much alcohol to add to their beverage.

Hints

  1. Depending on the region, it is common to use grappa or brandy, an anise liqueur (ouzo, Sambuca), or Strega. Some bars in the US also serve Caffè Corretto with amaro.
