Amarula Grasshopper

Ingredients

  • 15ml gin
  • 15ml Amarula
  • 15ml crème de menthe
  • 30ml half-and-half (single cream)

Garnish

Sprig of mint and shaved chocolate

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until chilled.

  3. Strain into a coupe.

  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint and shaved chocolate.

Hints

  1. All Grasshoppers can be made with regular crème de cacao instead of the blanc version. Both the color and the taste of the cocktail will be slightly different, but they'll still bring chocolate notes to the drink. Note that there's usually a noticeable difference in taste across all brands.

  2. For a lighter version, feel free to substitute the half-and-half with either regular milk or evaporated milk.
